TrustRadius covers hundreds of technology categories, from marketing applications, to DevOps tools, to sales tech, to HR & finance. Our research team is adding new categories every month.

Each product you list on our site should have a “primary” category. This should be the category that best fits your product, and where most of the products yours competes with also live. If your product is a good fit for other categories on TrustRadius, you can add them as additional categories. Vendors may select up to 2 secondary categories. If you feel your product is a good fit for more than 2 secondary categories, please contact vendors@trustradius.com to request consideration.
Note that to be present in other categories, your product needs to be a reasonable option for buyers looking for that type of tool. For example, if your product is a sales forecasting plug-in for CRMs, it cannot be listed in the CRM category, since it’s not a CRM.


You can update your categories by updating your product profile in the vendor portal. Any changes will be reviewed by our research team, who will reach out with any questions. Our goal is to ensure that our categories and taxonomy meet the needs and expectations of technology buyers who are using our site to evaluate tools.


Categories also determine your product’s eligibility to be on a TrustMap, featured in a buyer’s guide, or considered for a Top Rated award. If you’re not quite sure which category is a good fit, please reach out to support@trustradius.com to be connected with our research team.
