How to route positive and negative Reviews to different departments
Start a New Zap
In section 1, make these selections:
Choose App: TrustRadius
Choose Trigger Event: New Review
Click the “Continue” button
Sign into your TrustRadius account, using your API key
In Vendor Portal > Settings > Integrations > API Key
Click the “Test & Continue” button
Delete the “Do this…” section
In the “...” menu in the section’s top right corner
Click the blue “+” sign underneath the “New Review in TrustRadius section”
Select “Paths”
In the Paths section, click “Edit” on Path A
Name Path A: Positive Review
Click “Continue” button
For the Rules Setup & Testing, make the following selections:
Leftmost field: New Review in TrustRadius > Rating
Middle field: (Number) Greater than
Rightmost field: 6
Test this path, and then click “Continue Editing”
Click “Do this..” section
In the “Do This…” section, make these selections:
Choose App: [Your messaging or email client of choice (Gmail, Outlook, Slack, etc). For this example, we’ll use Gmail.]
Choose Action Event: Send Email
Click the “Continue” button, then in the Choose Account section select the email account to send through, and then click the “Continue” button
Customize Email however you like!
To: [your email(s) of choice]
Subject (example): New Positive Review on TrustRadius
Body (example): [Rating]/10 Review of [Product Name] from [Reviewer Company Name], written by [Reviewer First Name] [Reviewer Last Name]: [URL]
Click “Continue” > “Test & Continue” > and then “Done Editing”
Click the “X” in the top right corner of the modal, to return to the Paths section
Click the “Edit” button on Path B
Name Path B: Negative Review
For the Rules Setup & Testing, make the following selections:
Leftmost field: New Review in TrustRadius > Rating
Middle field: (Number) Less than
Rightmost field: 7
Test this path, and then click “Continue Editing”
Click “Do this..” section
In the “Do This…” section, make these selections:
Choose App: [Your messaging or email client of choice (Gmail, Outlook, Slack, etc). For this example, we’ll use Gmail.]
Choose Action Event: Send Email
Click the “Continue” button, then in the Choose Account section select the email account to send through, and then click the “Continue” button
Customize Email however you like!
To: [your email(s) of choice]
Subject (example): New Negative Review on TrustRadius
Body (example): [Rating]/10 Review and Reference for [Product Name]. Review is from [Reviewer Company Name], and written by [Reviewer First Name] [Reviewer Last Name]: [URL]
Click “Continue” > “Test & Continue” > and then “Done Editing”
Click the “X” in the top right corner of the modal, to return to the Paths section
Recommended: Name your zap “New Positive or Negative Review”, for ease of reference
In the top right corner, or from the bottom middle, toggle the Zap from “Off” to “On
