You can view recent intent activity for specific accounts in two areas: the Activity Log and the Timeline view in the Sales Dashboard. This enables you to understand the specific intent being shown by an account. For example, you can see when an account is researching your products on different days and what type of content they are engaging with about your products (i.e. pricing, reviews, FAQs).


Note: Activity Logs and Sales Dashboards are only available for accounts that already have a firmographic profile in your Demandbase tenant.

You can navigate to an account’s Activity Log a number of different ways:

  1. If you are viewing an account list, click the Account Name. On the Account page, click on the Activity Log tab.
  2. In the left-hand navigation bar of your Demandbase tenant, click Analytics. Type the Account Name in the Search field. If the account exists in your Demandbase tenant, it will auto-populate in the dropdown menu under the Search field. Click the Account Name.  Click Manage Account. On the Account page, click on the Activity Log tab.

If you do not initially see activities on the Activity log, try adjusting the date range.

  1. Navigate to the account's Sales Dashboard. You can do this a number of different ways:
    1. If you are viewing an account list, click the Account Name. On the Account page, click Go to Dashboard in the far right corner. This will bring you to the account's Sales Dashboard.
    2. In the left-hand navigation bar of your Demandbase tenant, click Analytics. Type the Account Name in the Search field. If the account exists in your Demandbase tenant, it will auto-populate in the dropdown menu under the Search field. Click the Account Name.  This will bring you to the account's Sales Dashboard.
  2. On the Sales Dashboard, scroll down to "Timeline". This section offers three different Timeline views: Deal Story, Engagement, and Group.
    1. Deal Story - Displays the most recent activities that an account has engaged in and the amount of Engagement Minutes applied to those activities. You can hover over different parts of the graph to see more information. 
    2. Engagement - Provides a visual representation of how Engagement Minutes are trending for an account. You can hover over the graph to view a weekly summary of the activities that contributed to the Engagement Minutes count. 
    3. Group - With this view, you can filter activities by Activity Type. For example, if you select "Intent Surge" from the Activity Type dropdown menu, the graph will refresh and show only the latest engagement related to intent activities.
