6Sense’s mapping interface enables you to dictate where your TrustRadius intent data should “live” in your 6Sense instance. Mapping your TrustRadius intent data to the corresponding 6Sense products will ensure that TrustRadius intent activities are surfaced in the correct places and incorporated into 6Sense's scoring appropriately.

To map your TrustRadius intent data in 6Sense:

  1. Configure the 6Sense/TrustRadius integration using your API key.
  2. Once you’ve validated your API key, navigate to Settings > Integrations > TrustRadius (under "My Integrations).  Click the Map TrustRadius data tab. This tab consists of 2 sections:
    1. TrustRadius Account Summary - Displays a summary of the types of intent data that you have access to as part of your TrustRadius subscription.
      1. Category - Gives you access to all accounts who have interacted with that category or with any of the products within that category on TrustRadius.
      2. Product - Gives you access to all accounts who have interacted with your product(s) on TrustRadius.
        1. Product comparison - This is a sub-category of Product intent. Product comparison intent gives you access to all accounts who have compared your product with other products on TrustRadius.
    2. Configure Mapping to 6Sense - This is where you will map your TrustRadius intent data to your 6Sense products.
  3. Complete your mapping: Under the "6Sense Product Name" column, use the dropdown menu to dictate which 6Sense product(s) your TrustRadius data should map to. You can map your data however you’d like (1-to-1, One-to-many, no mapping, etc). See example below.
  4. Once you have completed your mapping, click Finish.

Mapping Example

In the first row of this example, TrustRadius's Sales Enablement category data is mapped to the following 6Sense products: ABC Sales Enablement Tool, and ACME Sales Navigator. This means that category-level intent data for Sales Enablement will be surfaced in both the "ABC Sales Enablement Tool" and "ACME Sales Navigator" instances in 6Sense. (Your 6Sense Product Names will vary depending on how your organization uses 6Sense.)

In the second row, TrustRadius's Sales Intelligence category data is mapped to "ACME Sales Navigator." This means that Sales Intelligence intent data will be surfaced in the "ACME Sales Navigator" instance only.

This video features a walkthrough of how to use the mapping feature.

How does the mapping feature affect historical intent data that is already in your 6Sense instance?

Once you've completed the mapping, 6Sense will update your historical intent data accordingly. Please allow up to 72 hours for 6Sense to finish mapping your historical intent data.

What happens if you choose not to complete the mapping?

Without the mapping, you can still leverage your TrustRadius intent data within 6sense's segmentation filters. However, you will not be able to view TrustRadius intent data in 6Sense's Sales Intelligence tools. TrustRadius intent will also not influence 6sense's scoring models.
