If necessary, you can create a custom field(s) on your lead object in Salesforce to map values from your TrustRadius lead form to your Salesforce instance.

  1. Log into Salesforce and go to Setup.
  2. Click on the "Object Manager" tab
  3. Go to the Lead Object.
  4. Click on “Fields & Relationships” from the left menu.
  5. Click New to begin creating a new field.
  6. Choose the field type. For example, if you'd like to create a field that contains the Message provided by the buyer on your TrustRadius lead form, you might select "Text" as the field type.
  7. Enter the field details (label, length, name, description).
    1. Note: Do not make this field required if it is only being used for mapping your TrustRadius lead form.
  8. Define the field-level security (e.g. which Salesforce profiles should be able to view the field, which users should have read-only access to the field, etc.)
  9. Add the new field to your Lead page layout.
  10. Click Save.
