Using Single Sign-On (SSO) on TrustRadius
TrustRadius customers are able to take advantage of Single-Sign On (SSO) to enable seamless login for their employees to the TrustRadius vendor portal. SSO improves organizational security by reducing the number of passwords employees need to manage, while improving the user experience for your employees to access the vendor portal.
*Note: SSO is only available to paying TrustRadius customers if it is included in your subscription. If you are unsure if this capability is available to you, speak to your Customer Success Manager or Account Manager for more information.
Setting up SSO with TrustRadius
- Reach out to your Customer Success Manager and inform them that you would like to set up SSO for your company profile. Included your IT or security contact from your organization who will assist with establishing the connection within your company's identity provider.
- TrustRadius will provide a document with the necessary information for the connection to be established in your identity provider. Details that TrustRadius will provide to you include: Entity ID, Assertion Consumer Service URL (Post-Back URL), and expected Attributes.
- Your team will provide TrustRadius with key information for us to create the SSO connection. Details that you provide to Trustradius include: X.509 Signing Certificate, Sign In URL, Identity Provider Email Domain(s), and whether you want Identity Provider (IdP) initiated SSO enabled or not.
- Once the details have been shared between our teams, TrustRadius will create the SSO connection and associate it with your vendor profile.
- TrustRadius will confirm the SSO connection is ready and will provide instructions to your team for testing.

FAQs
Who is eligible to set up SSO on TrustRadius?
Only TrustRadius customers with SSO included in their subscription are eligible. Talk to your CSM for more information.
What SSO protocols does TrustRadius support?
TrustRadius supports SAML connections for SSO. If your company requires a different protocol, please share that information with your CSM and AM for discussion with the TrustRadius team.
How do I sign in using SSO? What if I've never logged in before?
Log in to TrustRadius using your company email address. If your company is using SSO, your email domain will be detected and you will be able to log in without using a password; you will be automatically directed to authenticate via your company's identity provider.
Note: Your company may use groups or roles in your identity provider to determine which employees have access to various applications. If so, you will need to contact your IT team to ensure you have access to the TrustRadius application.
Can I invite my colleagues to the vendor portal, or can they invite me?
There is no need to! Once SSO is enabled for your organization, inviting colleagues to the vendor portal is no longer available and is not necessary. Employees can simply log in using your company email address to access the vendor portal.
